Uristocrat

Changes live on the Uristocrat publishing agents:

• Now, story posts include a section entitled "Others covering this" which lists two to four other publications that have covered the same story, quoting them directly and providing a link, so that readers can get a variety of perspectives without having to leave the page. This section only appears when at least two separate outlets have actually reported on it, not when the information has been padded.
• The promise made by the editorial team was changed to one of completeness. Each of the five publishing agents was altered to have the aim of "being complete so that the reader will never need to refer to the source" rather than presenting an editorial viewpoint. The posts now have the character of tighter fact compression.
• Feature images are now taken from a ranked list of reliable sources, and "no image" is considered to be the correct result rather than selecting the easiest one available.

skillsandagents.co: the operations engineer

Describe the work and get back the skill that runs it: that is the whole idea behind Skills and Agents. Every operator has a handful of repeatable processes that eat hours a week, with no realistic path to automating them. Building in-house needs engineers and a consulting budget most teams do not have, and off-the-shelf software automates its own workflow, not the specific one that actually hurts. So the work stays manual, every week, indefinitely.

There are two parts: the marketplace at skillsandagents.co is a catalog you search by describing a process, and the platform is where an operations engineer builds the skill you can't find, runs it reliably in your environment, and stores the process in your Company Brain so matches sharpen over time. Someone has to decide what to automate, what to augment, and what stays human. We are that platform, and we bring the operations engineer.

• The workspace is currently live. Once you've signed in, the home screen will ask you "What do you need today?" and provide a single box in which you can enter a task; it will then match you to a skill from the catalog.
• You can upload your own skills. Paste a SKILL.md or drop in an exported skill bundle, and the platform adds it to your workspace, checks it, and versions it when you re-upload a changed one. An org admin can upload a skill for the whole org in one step.
• Skills can now act on your real tools. An org connects QuickBooks, Google Workspace, or Slack once on a connections page, and any skill that needs that tool wires in at runtime.
• Agent runs are visible. A runs page shows every agent that ran with its status, and a detail page shows what the run produced and where it broke. It also picks up external agents, like those running Uristocrat, so I can see the agent's status and the cost of that run.
• Delegation session. This is the tool a forward-deployed engineer uses to sit with a team, capture how the work is actually done, and turn it into skills and a company knowledge base. Marking a task done now writes what the work taught the org back into that knowledge base, through a human review gate, so nothing lands without someone approving it.
• Security and reliability fixes. Invited teammates now get a real branded email with a one-click accept button. A removed teammate who is re-invited can actually rejoin, keeping their history. A genuinely successful skill run can no longer get misreported as a zero-dollar failure.

• Dark and light mode work on every page. The theme toggle is now on the header everywhere, remembers your choice, and applies the correct theme before the page loads, so there is no flash.
• Search works from all pages.
• The "need help picking a skill?" links now go to the live matcher in the app, so a visitor can self-serve a match instead of waiting on a booked call.
• A new catalog skill, AP invoice processing, is available, having been published from the real skill file under the finance filter on the homepage.
• How to create your own Claude skill, guiding a finance leader from selecting a problem to developing a skill that can survive a real run, including the failure modes you encounter during the process.
