This means developers using Macs with Intel can no longer target visionOS while developing apps. Any developers building with Intel will need to consider an upgrade to Apple Silicon.
There are a few implications with this move:
- Developers with Intel Macs will not be able to develop for the Vision Pro without upgrading which may lead to less adoption of visionOS.
- Apple may soon require all future Software upgrades for Mac to be on Apple Silicon.
